Notes
-
I feel I have found many convergences backing up my change
- Theoretical models
- Visceral responses
- The longer I sit with the uncomfortable being the closer I touch the reality of the situation
-
But I haven’t found application for this new structure of being
- I will continue searching
-
Time and others expectations are placing pressure
- Need to find a practise that loosens these pressures so that I don’t fall into a choice
-
Discernment is then we are trying to enforce our experience onto others
- Sometimes it comes out as the enlightened feeling cyclic / telepathic connection
- Could lead to cult
-

Personal Feedback
- Which ideas have you found the most helpful, meaningful or challenging? Which exercises?
- The Gestalt exercise was interesting. I felt able to explore a dialogue with my vision of Self in a participatory way, including close connection with my feelings responses to challenging questions. I felt challenged however to access areas of interest I didn’t have the vocab / knowledge of which might need a deeper breaking of frame. However I realised I was on the course for this area of study, so I felt I took a small step in the right orientation which was great.
- What has been the high point or major learning of this course for you?
- Discussing some definitions of transpersonal felt magical. I was uplifted and left with a wealth of positive wonder and awe that I can contemplate. It felt like some aspects of the training and outside the training were coming together, providing a closer and more clear grasp of reality.
- What has been the quality of the conceptual content? Its organisation? Continuity? Presentation? Clarity?
- I had a mix of clarity and confusion. I felt the term Immanence was mentioned with significance, but I didn’t grasp its meaning and relevance. This threw me out of sync with what was being taught and into potentially self-deception.
- Has there been anything missing from the course or anything you would have liked more of given the time limits? Was there anything which did not work for you or which could have worked more effectively if changed?
- More time on the term Immanence
- What comments do you have about the course trainer(s) and assistants? How was your relationship with the trainer(s)?
- As always I felt the trainers where articulate, responsive, and fun
